Currently, Globetrotter Kids is taught as after-school program in Austin at Gullett Elementary and Brentwood Elementary. Please contact if you would like to have this taught at your school.


Globetrotter Kids can be brought to your school, club, Boy Scout or Girl Scout meeting, birthday party, or even home! There are over 30 countries to choose from and each presentation is 45 minutes long with crafts, games and handouts. Please contact for more information.



SUMMER 2019 CAMPS with Lee Anne Gardner (Art Teacher at Brentwood Elementary)

Both camps will be held at Faith Lutheran Church (6600 Woodrow Ave, Austin 78757)

Peru & Spain - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday-Friday June 10-14
For Peru, campers will study the masks of indigenous Peruvians such as the Inca with children creating their own Pre-Columbian mask. Textiles, very important in Peruvian culture, will also be discussed with students creating their own weaving.

For Spain, campers will examine the Cubist still lifes of Spanish artist Pablo Picasso and create their own Cubist still life. Campers will also have fun creating their own surrealist landscape collage and drawing inspired by the imagery of Spanish artist Salvador Dali.

This camp will also include a tapas party (with campers making everything!) and a Flamenco lesson!
Morocco & France - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday-Friday June 17-21
For Morocco, campers will examine the country's architecture, especially mosques, and create their own architectural drawing and mixed media design. Campers will also study beautiful Moroccan tiles and create their own tile-inspired prints.

For France, campers will look at the art of famous French artists and styles including Impressionism and Pointillism. Students will create paintings inspired by the styles of these 19th century artists.

This camp will also include a lesson in making French pastries and a visit from a henna artist!
